The Port of Allyn Commissioners (Judy Scott, Jean Farmer, Randy Neatherlin) generally hold their monthly meeting on the first Monday of each month at 7pm at the Port of Allyn building on SR-3 in Allyn. Meeting schedules are subject to change. The Port of Allyn covers approximately 65 square miles and serves the north end of Mason County. In 1921 residents voted to establish the Port of Allyn to promote economic development, and in 1987 the people voted to establish an Industrial Development District (IDD) with the same boundaries to provide funds specifically for industrial development and harbor improvements by the Port.
